Divis & Black Mountain Evening Hike
We will be hiking Divis and the Black Mountain on Tuesday evening. This will be a light, straightforward walk suitable for all abilities and ideal for anyone who hasn’t done this type of activity before.
Meeting Point:
Divis/Black Mountain Car Park, Divis Road
Please arrive by 6:40pm so we can set off promptly.
Finish Time:
We’ll return to the same car park around 9:15–9:30pm.
Hike Details:
The route takes approximately 2½ hours and follows well-marked trails with gradual climbs.
What to Bring:
- Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing
- Suitable footwear – trainers are fine for this route
- A bottle of water
- Optional: a light snack and a small backpack
- Any relevant medication.
The weather is expected to be mild, but please dress appropriately as it can be breezy on the hills.
